Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of r-os at r-os.online. By creating an account or using r-os, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use r-os.
The service
r-os is a personal workspace that runs in your browser. It brings your email, calendars, tasks, news and other services together, with an AI assistant. Features may change, and the service is currently in an early stage.
Your account
- You must be at least 16 and provide accurate information.
- You are responsible for keeping your password, PIN and devices secure, and for activity under your account.
- Tell us promptly at ravindu.lokumanna@gmail.com if you suspect unauthorised access.
Connected accounts
When you connect Google, Microsoft or other accounts, you authorise r-os to access them on your behalf, within the permissions you approve. You must have the right to connect them. You remain bound by those providers’ own terms. You can disconnect them at any time.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use r-os to:
- break any law or infringe anyone’s rights;
- send spam or unsolicited bulk email, or send email you are not authorised to send;
- access accounts, systems or data you are not authorised to access, including through API connectors;
- interfere with or overload the service, or try to bypass its security.
The AI assistant
The assistant can make mistakes. Check important information before relying on it. r-os always asks for your confirmation before the assistant sends email, creates events or takes other outward actions. You are responsible for actions you confirm.
Your content
You keep ownership of your content and data. You give r-os permission to store and process it only as needed to provide the service, as described in our Privacy Policy.
Availability and changes
We aim to keep r-os available and secure, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service, and we may change or discontinue features. Keep your own copies of anything important. Your email and calendar data remain in your original accounts.
Disclaimers and liability
r-os is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. To the extent allowed by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for loss of data, profits or business, arising from your use of r-os. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Ending your use
You can stop using r-os and ask us to delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms or put the service or other users at risk.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We will change the date above and, for significant changes, notify you in the app. If you keep using r-os, you accept the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Sri Lanka, except where your local consumer law gives you other rights.
